Early life

Kehoe was born in Reno, Nevada. He attended Bishop Manogue High School, and the University of Nevada, Reno. In high school, he participated in two baseball state championships and one state championship in football.[1] In college he was a member of the Sigma Nu fraternity.[2]

Modeling career

Kehoe began his modeling career doing work in the Reno area for casinos and fashion boutiques.[3] He also modeled for Click LA, Vahe’s Men, and some runway for LA Models. He was nominated Male Model Runner Up at the International Modeling and Talent Association in 2001.[1]

In 2008, Kehoe could also be seen in a humorous commercial for gossip website TMZ's TV show in which a number of people thank TMZ for teaching them unethical behavior such as not following the rules and how to take a good mugshot. Kehoe can be seen saying, "Thanks to TMZ, I learned that dating a celebrity is the only way I'll be a celebrity!"

Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency

In 2006, Kehoe traveled to Los Angeles to attend an open call audition for The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency during the show's taping of its second season. He was selected to join the agency and within a few weeks moved to the Los Angeles area.[3]

In season two, Kehoe was chosen to participate in the Catalina Island photo shoot for 2(x)ist.[4]

In season three, Kehoe's roommate Grant Whitney Harvey joined the agency. Kehoe was hired to do photo shoots for Go Softwear and Dragonfly by Edward Dada. During the public demonstration by the agency models in support of the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), Kehoe was one of the models that removed his clothing as part of PETA's "I'd rather go naked than wear fur" campaign. At season's end, Kehoe was chosen by Janice Dickinson as one of her top models that would travel with her to Miami to test the viability of opening a Miami branch of the agency. In Miami, Kehoe joined the other models in doing a runway show for Ed Hardy intimates and mens underwear.[5]

In season four, Janice bought a new home to serve as a, "model house," where models would live under the watchful eye of Janice, so she could keep an eye on their behavior and development. At first, Janice only let a select group of new models that she had just hired move in, but Kehoe begged for a spot in the house and Janice allowed him to stay. Periodically, she let more of her veteran models move in and all models agreed on one thing: Kehoe was becoming increasingly difficult to live with due to his over-the-top personality. It all came to a climax when a flippant comment uttered out loud by Kehoe, in which he told another model to do some cocaine in an effort to lose weight, got him immediately thrown out by Janice. Despite his many attempts to apologize, Janice has refused to even be in the same room as him.

Throughout the various seasons of JDMA, there has been rampant speculation that Kehoe is gay. This was addressed with a lie detector test in the season four reunion show after the finale. Though he admitted to such things as liking manicures and pedicures, finding himself attractive, and having kissed a guy in college, he professed that he is straight and the polygraph supported this claim.
